What really makes a good story?
Hi folks,
you know me, "Harry the Brush", likes his art, has a passion for drawing and painting ...
Well, I quite fancy trying my hand at putting a story together, a (spanning several centuries, little bit of 'magic', hint of fantasy - audience 14+)
I know about "the beginning" - "the middle" and "the end", balance and structure.
But let me ask you guys out there, ...

HARRY: The Shy Artist and Illustrator - an introduction !
Hi everyone,
Just a few lines .... I just wanted to introduce myself to the the Accent Press social network.
I joined about a week ago, as an emergent writer, with a head full of ideas and plots. When I say 'emergent', that's precisely what I mean. I'm a little like the chick that's pricked the 'eggshell comfort zone' I've enjoyed during gestation, but now I dare to peek the 'Great Unknown.'
So what IS my 'comfort zone'?

How long is a piece of string? or Harry's '19 and a bit' hour word-string-challenge!
Hi everyone,
As I start this, it's 4:55 a.m. My eyes feel like they've had sand kicked into them by some muscle-bound guy on the beach! All the sheep I've counted are asleep! But as they snore, they're keeping me awake! So what can I do? I need something to take my mind off the fact that I'm tired, so very, VERY tired, but can't simply drop-off!
Let's see how long a piece of string really is! Starting with the word "PRAY", change ONLY ONE letter to form a new English word.
