I read to keep it simple and not add to many images as it takes so long for a viewer to download a page - I know I'm closed a web down became of getting fed up with waiting!!! I read Chapter One and think it has potential. The only thing I would say is change the ref of young girls to young women. My mind thought the killings were children of about ten, then when the story reeached Leanne on the autopsy table, it mentioned her age as 20. Do you have a background in autopsies etc etc? (curiousity). You write really well and gave good visual to the reader!! Lesley

Is there anyone there?

Hi, has everyone gone to ground with the onset of autumn? The site is definately a little light on contributions at the moment, so I thought I had better make an effort. Had another two rejections for my novel `The Newtown Tailor`, but on the up side I have had a poem accepted for an anthology, so not too depressed at the moment. New Web Site

Hi folks, at long last I have finished my web site and launched it. It was a huge learning curve even though I chose a site that gave templates, so it was a bit like a cross between word and publisher. Is there anybody out there

Hi folks, there seems to be a distinct lack of activity on the blogs at the moment, we are all obviously very busy or on holiday. I have just about finished editing The Mother Maker, and am now working like mad on my pitch for the Dragon's Pen at the Harrogate Crime Writers festival. I head up there on Wednesday when I'll meet a friend who comes over from Cyprus. More Crime than you can Shake a Stick at

Hi, Now we are in July I am on countdown to the Harrogate Crime writers Festival. It's three and a half days of non stop murder and I wouldn't miss it for the world.

This year I am pitching my novel to a panel of agents and publishers in what they have called the Dragon's Pen.

I am working hard on trying to put together a sharp, interesting two minute pitch. Having completed a manuscript of 90,000+ words, how difficult can a short pitch be?

Hay Festival

Hi, is anyone heading for the Hay Festival this year. I am hoping to manage a day there, but I haven' decided which one yet. I usually manage one day, but I missed out last year and I was sorry about that. It is such a great atmosphere there and I always manage to find interesting people to talk to.
